Overview

Between the two founders of Positive Media Company CIC, there is 40+ years’ experience in broadcasting and audio creation. We’ve created radio stations, managed teams, produced national programming and appeared on air, presenting shows on numerous radio stations across the UK.

Our industry contacts from years gone by will lend their experience to our future productions and projects.

Andrew Peacock

Director, Founder

Andrew is 51 years old and started his career at Piccadilly Radio in Manchester in the 1980’s and has worked in the industry ever since. He worked his way from being a presenter and producer in Manchester through to roles in London for The BBC, the UK commercial radio network, two of the UK Top 40 chart shows, consultant producer and freelance roles for specialist stations and community radio.

Andrew is the creator and founder of Cheesy FM which is currently seeking investment to broadcast around the UK.

Positive Media Company’s ‘Media Academy’ is inspired by Andrew’s time at a community radio station in East Manchester. With the ever-changing radio landscape being attacked from all sides by wannabe entertainers through YouTube, online platforms, and anyone with a microphone or smartphone, the door of opportunity has swung open for anyone with the right guidance and commitment to their craft.

Linden Wade

Director, Co-Founder

Linden is 28 years old and started his journey in radio at the age of 15 (now over 10 years ago!) as a volunteer at Moorlands Radio, based in Staffordshire. From there, he landed a job at Signal Radio where he worked as a presenter and producer across their network of 9 local radio stations; Signal 1, Pulse 1, Wish FM, Wire FM, Tower FM, Radio Wave, The Wave, Signal 107 and Peak FM. Whilst there, he was approached by Staffordshire University to lecture their radio production students, which initiated his desire to teach.

Linden is the co-founder of Cheesy FM, which is currently seeking investment under its parent company to expand to areas of the UK. More recently, he has been involved with Tameside Radio where he spent 18 months working alongside Andrew as the Deputy Head of Radio and across other areas of the business.

He is also a bit of a technology geek and can turn his hand to many tasks. He has been able to transfer his skillset across to a selection of media hardware and software.

Linden is currently a teacher of Creative Media Production at a College based in Manchester.
